Get into the Christmas spirit with widespan doors
Entertaining family over Christmas? Planning to cook a huge turkey on Christmas Day? If you have a stunning new conservatory, you’ll be thankful for the extra space.
At this time of the year, when our thoughts turn to family, we all dream about having bigger houses and that’s why glazed extensions, like conservatories and orangeries, are a popular choice.
If this festive period makes you realise how much you crave space, think about having a new conservatory installed in your home next year. Come and see us in the next few weeks and let’s get you booked in so Christmas 2020 will be the best ever.
As part of your conservatory, you can choose bifold doors. These have multiple panels of glass which, when opened, fold away neatly to showcase your garden. They work using a concertina style opening which reveals a wall of glass connection to the outdoors, free from any frames or posts.
Bifold doors can either fold internally or externally, to the right-hand side, left-hand side or in the middle. It’s up to you to choose which configuration would most suit your property, maximising space and complimenting what furniture you have.
As an alternative, you could have aluminium sliding doors as part of your glazed extension.
They let in more light and you’ll have uninterrupted views of your garden over Christmas. The wide openings and lack of obstructing door panes or frames make aluminium sliding doors ideal over the winter period.
